Back when Jeff Hoover was class president at Forest Hill High School, he was better known as the nut with the big car stereo. He’d swing through the parking lot of Forest Hill High in his hand-me-down red 1970 Ford Galaxie 500, blaring My Sharona at face-melting volume in a bid to impress his future wife, the homecoming queen. After graduation, he worked as a store manager at Cushman Fruit Co., but he also installed stereos and eight-track players in cars until he could make it his day job.
